I am really on a roll here with marbeling on clay! it is such A Process... working on raw super soft clay whic gets softer with all the slips on it. Half the work im working on simply collapse or fall apart in drying. Or a clay decides its a nice place to leave a cat impression :( Not to mention the amount of clean up after each marbeling session. Since my studio is completely open , the wind also factors in. But for this firing another very beloved natural event creates mayhem. THE rains.  October, November saw loads of rain in Auroville and a couple of cyclones mid november. That left my studio so humid that it was near impossible to dry anything. Wrong process for such a weather where I have to let the work dry leather hard, marble it then which makes it super hydrated again and then let it dry out. Madness.
